James William “Baby” Reed, Sr. transitioned peacefully in his home on Friday, January 25, 2019. He was born October 19, 1948 to the late Winston and Amy Reed.
James professed his love in Christ at an early age.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo’Ann Reed; sister, Avery Ann Reed; and brother Michael Reed.
Baby Reed leaves to mourn his loving daughters, Klelesa Nance and Treveria Rankins; son, James William Reed, Jr.; brother, Johnny (Teresa) Reed; step-mother, Lorenn (Charlie) Richardson; very devoted friend, Dorothy Owens; a host of grandchildren, Keshley, very devoted granddaughter Ja’Nora, William (Pico), Jaimese, Darrius, Anthony Jr., Trevarius and Justice; along with his great grandchildren, Ty’Klecia, Ah’Mari and Journni; devoted friend, Rodney James; devoted cousin, Hentori Owens; devoted neighbor Mary Malone; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends whom will miss him dearly.
