Mr. Hosea James Brown, age 71, passed away Monday, December 24th. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Melanie Brown; one son, Hosea Brown; step children, Karen (Terrance) Spivey, Tina Goforth, Chris (Alisha) Reed, Robby Jones, Joe and Twana Malone; sister, Mary Capehart; brother, Willie (Mary) Blue; along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

  1. I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Brown, I worked with him at Goodwill for a couple of years, such a sweet caring man. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Love you Brown Brown! Sherry Gannon

  2. I am going to miss Hosea(Brown)as he’s well known. Gentle, sweet, caring, and loving person. He had been there for me in very dark and difficult periods in my life. I appreciate him for being there for me, when nobody else was. You will be truly missed but never forgotten. Always and forever in my heart.

  3. Brown is going to be missed by so many. He touched the lives of so many people. He was always willing to help out anyone. One of the sweetest and selfless people I have ever met! Such a positive outlook even on his rough days. Everyone that met him loved him. The world lost a wonderful man, but Heaven gained a beautiful Angel! Rest in Peace Brown.

  4. Hosea was my buddy. We shared a bond that many people didnt know about. He was a true gentleman, a dying breed. He rescued me on a many occasions back in the day and I will never forget that. He will truly be missed..the world needs more people like Hosea..I send my condolences to his family.

  5. I am so sorry to have heard that Brown has passed on. He was such a good man & have known him for years as I work in the banking industry. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. He has gone to be with our creator in heaven…may he rest in peace.
