Martavious Dayquion Roper, a.k.a Head, was born on July 5, 1997 at MTMC Murfreesboro, TN to Frederica Roper and Jerry Marable.  He departed from this life on January 8, 2018 at 10:30 am.

Martavious graduated on May 19, 2016; what a proud day it was for all of us.

Martavious was preceded in death by three grandparents, Maggie Roper, Ella Sue Marable and Jerry Nelson.

Martavious leaves behind a very devoted mother, Frederica Roper; a very loving and devoted father, Jerry Nelson; a very loving and devoted stepdad, Cordell Robertson, all of Murfreesboro, TN; four loving sisters, Kendrica Martin, Dalila, a.k.a. Lele, Robertson, Lajerria Marable and Cedrica Nelson; three loving brothers, Marquion Roper, Kendell Martin and Daylen Nelson; one niece, Remy D. Simmons; one very special loving and caring great aunt Constance Hathaway; loving and devoted aunts, Elexecia Martin, Kionna Roper, Darnicha Tigg, Nicole Nelson, Kionna Hollins, Janitria Young, Marlisa (Freddie) Johnson and Shannon Smith; two loving and devoted grandmothers, Yalonda Roper and Teresa (Michael) Carter; one loving and devoted grandfather, Freddy (Sharon) Tigg; one great grandmother, Mammie Johnson; one great grandfather, Lewis Tigg; very devoted cousins, Tony Batts, Onnia William, Marcus Voorhies, Don Willam, Jr., Reco Gregory, Dumario Nelson; very devoted friends, Malik Brooks, Monte’ Jenkins Oshae Steward; and a host of great aunts, great uncles, loving cousins and friends.
